Hi,

Following a recent widows update, one of our screens is now showing blocked graphics and shrinking into the corner,

I have added the registry values for both, but still have the issue

Anybody got a solution to this?

I have applied the fix, but still shrinks and the graphics are being blocked too! I’m running it on a minix neo 2

The issue you link to won’t cause blockyness in my experience. The issue I linked to will however.

sorry by blocked graphics I mean;

Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware

I have a couple devices where the player is unable to play. An alert keeps popping up saying “Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware. Application XiboClient.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.” The devices are Intel sticks with Windows 10. It occurs on both 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 Xibo client. It’s an intermittent issue… sometimes it plays, sometimes it doesn’t. Has anyone run into this before? Screenshot attached. [image]

I’d suggest there’s something not quite right with the OS then.

I’d run the following from an adminstrative command prompt:

sfc /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then check with whoever makes your graphics hardware that you’re using the latest drivers. Specifically don’t just check Windows Update for this - check with your hardware manufacturer (eg Intel or nVidia etc)

You might also want to do an offline memory test (using memtest86 or similar)

Once graphics drivers have been updated, reboot and try again.
