Webpage updating issue

Continuing the discussion from Webpage contents does not update:

I think it is solved completely now. Because Xibo is using the Internet Explorer browser, I changed the settings for when IE should pickup a new page, when visiting it. It was configured for automatically (which is good for normal usage of the browser), but after changing it to always, it is now updating directly.

As always, after you solved the problem, you think, hmmm, it was that easy…

Could you tell me which config you made in IE? I´m facing the same issue.

I am fairly sure it’s in IE, Internet options, general tab, settings under browsing history -> Temporary Internet Files

Yes, indeed. I have made 2 screenshots. Make sure it is set to Every Time I visit the webpage.

And I switched OFF allow website caches. But I don’t think this is changing the behaviour of not showing the last updated page. The above setting does !
