The software im using is the following: Xampp 7.2.10 & xibo cms 1.8.11

im having a issue with the Mcrypt Extension, since Xampp 7.2.10 is missing that extension.
I tried manually downloading the extension and copying it into the php/ext folder from xampp and write the extension into the php.ini file. Without result.
I am trying to get Xibo working on localhost please any advise?

Please note that this potential fix is recommended for new installations not upgraded CMSs.
If this does not resolve the issue, I would recommend installing an earlier version of Xampp that includes Mcrypt.
Version 1.8.12 will not require Mcrypt resolving the issue in the future. There is not currently a set release date for 1.8.12 but we will update our blog as soon as there is more information.
