Problem with Xibo Android

Hi all,

I have a problem with our new Xibo Android Client from DSDevices, it’s a DSCS9.

Xibo is already running on this device, but the problem is that we use the client in a company network and he needs internet access to get his license - I can’t give them the right to the full internet access at any time.

So no problem I think, the client get a static ip and a rule in the firewall - but there is the problem: the client communicates after every request to another IP.

Is there an address range which I can use for my firewall rule? or is there an option to get this licenses offline?

some facts:
-The Server is installed in the company network (Apache)
-xibo version 1.7.9
-android player version 1.7. R61

Regarding the licencing alone, that should be all you need.

yes, the address 85.119.83.174 (http://licence.springsignage.com) is also in the rule.

but the client tries more than one IP - when I allow the full access everything is fine. When I try to activate the license manually I don’t see a communication to the IP 85.119.83.174 every time an other …
