Problem with permission

I have a problem with my Xibo CMS.
When i make a new resolution i don’t have problems… If i make a new layout and want to make change in the offset and click save then the following message appears:

You don’t have permission to access /web/region/3 on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I’m running a CentOS 6 x64 server and have chmod the map to 0777.
What i’m doing wrong?

Could you please let us know what CMS version are you using?

The latest release, CMS version 1.8.0.

I also tried version 1.7.9.
The client opens a window when I use PowerPoint.
The window asks me to open the file or download. It does not give the presentation.
I prefer to use the latest release.

Of course please also make sure the PowerPoint is enabled in the display profile assigned to your device.

This is the solution to version 1.7.9.
What can I do about the mistake I as first described in version 1.8.0?

Hi all,

i have again a problem with version 1.8.0.

"Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /xibo/web/admin on this server.

domainname"

What can i do to resolve? I want to change my secret key.

I’d highly recommend upgrade to 1.8.1, other than that if you’re logged in as super user, then you should be able to access all CMS pages.

Now it’s 1.8.1.

I have create a new super admin.
With that account i have the same error.
It is on my own server. I chmod the directory’s to 777.
Nothing helps. What could this be?

Perhaps it’s documentRoot / URL rewriting issue (as you have web in the url there) - please see http://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/install_environment.html
