I’ve just installed Xibo on a new machine, having used it successfully before. I’ve got the CMS all set up and thrown a few test layouts on, but I can’t get the player to show anything other than the splash screen - not even the default layout.
I’ve checked to ensure that all layouts have valid regions in them…I’ve put the schedule in the right place and pointing to the right display. The display shows as licensed and valid (although the status of the display does say “Display is out of date but has not yet checked in with the server” - I’m using a local XAMPP server on the same machine as the CMS is installed).

Yes, that weird distortion of the text overlaying the error log is permanent and I can’t seem to shift it!
I’m going mad here…I’m afraid I’m a noob when it comes to the wiring of this stuff so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong…?
