Can you play background music with a slide?

With Xibo 1.8.0 onwards, there’s an Audio media type which you can add to an otherwise empty region to play audio.

Alternatively, you can attach audio to other media items, so that sound files play when certain media items are shown.

To put a still image, it always appears the same.
How long will I put it?

Images default to 10 second durations. You can set whatever duration you want by ticking the box to set a duration, and then entering a value.

You can’t do that. Everything in Xibo has a duration.

You would create your layout with the image with say a 5 minute duration, and schedule only that layout. When the layout completes, it will be shown over again.
