Module Page Bug 1.8.8

On 1.8.8 on the Modules Page when I click to go to Page 2, I get the following error:

When verifying the modules, it will not finish, the gear icon just keeps turning.

I don’t think that’s a general issue with 1.8.8.

Could you tell me more about your installation is it docker or manual/custom one on a web server?

Could you also go through Report Fault Wizard to see what error exactly to you get on that page?

Between enabling auditing and posting that log did you click on the 2nd page on Modules or try to run verify all?

I’m asking because there are no log messages assassinated with any of those actions in the log you posted.

If you had videoIn module installed then it could be this bug causing the problem - https://github.com/xibosignage/xibo/issues/1477

If that’s the case we will soon update the docker image for 1.8.8, then you will be able to pull it and it should fix it for you.

If it is something else, then I’d expect to see some logs about it, that part is slightly odd.

You will need to open your docker-compose.yml or cms_custom-ports.yml depending which one you are using.

To pull the new containers you’d down the docker

docker-compose down

then run

docker-compose pull
docker-compose up -d

with the -f flag if you’re using a custom compose file (custom ports, remote mysql etc).

ie for example:

docker-compose -f cms_custom-ports.yml pull
docker-compose -f cms_custom-ports.yml up -d

Too all our Cloud Hosting users, this fix is already live in our Cloud.

Basically the missing getResource call will cause problems mentioned in this topic, to fix that particular issue you will need to have that file ie /lib/Widget/videoIn updated.

Alternatively you can wait for 1.8.9 release, which will happen quite soon.
