Could you please take a screenshot to your widget “DataSet” under your Layout ?
Ok and under “Filters” settings ?
I set that to more than 0. I didn’t think you needed a filter or if you left it empty it would just display.
Normally yes,
How is your dataset created?
And if you try to preview layout, it’s work ?
Deletes datas and columns, and recreates them by changing the column name to a simple word.
I had an error when I tried to create a column with the same name “COL1”.
I thinks Xibo use this name to call colomns.
Yes it will display in the preview. I renamed the COL1 to something different and it still does not work. Seems like a bug but I am not sure if this is an issue with the entire build.
I think I’ve covered all the possible tests.
Maybe someone else has an idea.
I’ll try it myself, but I’ve never had a problem like this.
Thanks. I know there is another thread with similar issues on V4. I am using MariaDB on this build. This is a self hosted CMS on Linux Ubuntu
With Docker installation ?
Why don’t you try it with Docker.
It’s quick and easy to set up.
And you can also use an external DB.
Installing it with Ubuntu and a web server requires a lot of dependency.
I will try that next.
As of right now the dataset is working on the player. I installed the docker version of the CMS… I also noticed the font issue I originally discovered was fixed with the docker version.
Xibo recommends using Docker method, to avoid conflicts with your Linux/Windows installation.
Would you still like to try and find the cause of the fault with your Ubuntu installation?
