Layout not updated by watch dog

I am using windows client 1.7.9 and i don’t know the cms version.The problem is its not updating the content automatically.it require to close the window and restarting watchdog.

I can’t understand what is the problem is ??? whether it is a version problem or watchdog problem or else??? can you help me???

It sounds to me like you’re using very long durations on one or more of your media items.
