Xiboclient memory use keeps increasing

We are having some troubles with two xibo players / displays problems occured from the start;

We use two screens for two different layouts, both intel compusticks with windows 10. Xibo 1.8.9 runs offsite on a windows server 2016. The layouts contain;
display 1:

  • static logo
  • 60sec website, 10sec website

display 2:
static logo
8x 10sec website, 2x 10sec text

The problem we curently face is that on both screens the xiboclient.exe processes run out of memory and the proces eventualy stops working.

To troubleshoot the issue I curently have a nuc with 4gb ram running the same layout (one of the). When i start the client it uses ±100MB, afther a few hours this increases to 300+ and keeps climbing. I already tried several things (updates, drivers, sfc /scannow) non of them give me any result.

eventvwr shows lots of Windows Error Reporting 1001 events with:

I hope i’ve suplied enough info for trouble shooting, when there is more needed i’m glad to hear. I hope someone can help me.

When i wrote the message yesterday xiboclient.exe was using 120mb, this morning it’s 910. No error yet, soon as it crashes i wil update.

We are having this issue too. At some point the error log says there is not enough memory and the video stops playing. Our best option is to schedule reboots to clear the memory, but that doesn’t really solve the problem.
