Xibo Windows Client 1.8.3 flagged as Trojan

Downloading the Xibo Windows Player 1.8.3 with Windows Defender enabled flags the installer as Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.C!cl

This isn’t happening with previous releases. Just FYI, Scans are clean using other software.

Thanks for letting us know. As you say there’s nothing malicious in there. Hopefully Windows Defender will get updated and stop reporting it incorrectly

There are a lot of similar reports for other software packages surfacing at the moment - it is a false positive and there isn’t much we can do about it.
