I have a strange problem with Xibo CMS. I have a simple layout with only a ticker module.
But it won’t update so I can’t see the new items in de rss-feed.
I checked the logs but there is no entry about the rss feed not loading the new items.
I did a manual installation on my linux server (Ubuntu 16).
If that’s the only widget on a layout then we’d expect it to update once the whole layout reloads - ie if you have some really long durations on your layout then it will delay any updates.
You can add other widget to the region with ticker, enable expire modified layouts, adjust duration of the layout, ensure that the update interval of the ticker widget is suitable and it should update just fine.
