Hello…maybe someone can advise me on an issue I’m having
I using xibo server in minix neo u1,
when I playing the video then the video it’s changing layouts often occured “flicker blackscreen” in a few seconds…
so how to remove flicker when running video layout ??
A short flash after layouts ends may occur, but it certainly should not be there for a ‘few seconds’.
Perhaps you could try texture view video rendering, please:
Navigate to Display Settings page -> Edit display profile assigned to your device -> Troubleshooting tab -> ‘Use Surface view…’ disable this option
Restart Xibo for Android on your player and make sure it did pick up this change - there is a line about this setting on player status window.
You could try adding in/out transitions to your widgets as well.

Is the video H264 encoded .mp4?
The black screen after it reloads takes more time than it should.
Did you try using TextureView as I suggested?
I’ve only mentioned to restart Xibo for Android application ie close and re-open it.
You can open Status to see if the changes were picked up by the player.
There should be no need to restart server / CMS in this case.
Also what CMS and player version are you using please?

I do not know what this video is H264 encoded.mp4…I just download it from youtube and then I uploaded from the layout menu…

My Xibo Server CMS Version 1.8.1 and Minix Neo U1 player version 5.1.1

you mean “disable this option”…yes I have done it…but nothing has changed…
