Hi, my xibo working perfectly until today I try to upload a video of 3.04MB of MP4 format as always and when it starts to rise I get the indicator of the MB that is uploaded and when it reaches 3mb approximately finish the task and a message below the name of the file with the message TRUE, now if I try to upload a JPG image if I can, it is weird since it is the first error Xibo has given me since I had it a year ago.

Please check that your server isn’t out of disk space

If it isn’t that, then check for any updates that may have been made, particularly if the webserver was updated or if its running behind a reverse proxy. Also if the PHP version has changed.

Hi Alex. Even with the problem with the server, this is a shared server with very large capacity to store data but even so I have downloaded several files to discard, but now we download another CMS on 2.0 and the same thing happens, I have worked with Xibo since its inception almost and I have several licenses purchased and it is the first time I present this kind of problems and I was really very happy with the Xibo and now my technician is recommending me to change the application which I do not like very much for all the work that this would bring me. The technician thinks that Xibo changed something with the idea that we rent his servers and I do not want to think that, since it seems to me that the original idea of xibo in Linux was great. I appreciate you if you could help me.

Greetings.

Xibo hasn’t changed anything in the way it handles file uploads.

How are we supposed to have changed an application which is installed on your own server which we have no access to, without you making any changes to it? That makes no sense at all.

Given neither version of Xibo will allow file uploads, I’d suggest that your admin has made changes to the PHP version or configuration, and what we’d need to understand is what those changes were, and if they can be adjusted or rolled back.

Hello again.

I sent the information to see if they can wall and know what they need from the server for the CMS to work.

Please can you use the Report Fault wizard to capture some logging around your file upload.

I’m pretty sure it will show a permissions issue on the server filesystem.

Hi Alex,
I sent you the registration file several days ago, but I still do not receive a reply from you, I sent it to you here as well.

Your log doesn’t show any attempt to upload a file.

Are you sure that you ran through the report fault wizard, and when prompted, opened a new tab and went an uploaded a file, recreating the issue?

Just stepping through the wizard won’t pick up anything useful unless you recreate the issue at the correct time.

Just sending a follow up message to find out if a solution was found for this issue? I can also see that Alex has requested a new set of Report Fault Logs that show a file being uploaded so that this ca be looked into further. If the issue is still unresolved, would you be able to pass on new Logs?

Many Thanks.
