Hello!
I got issues with connecting Android player after upgrade to version R201 from R108.
I got error in player address bar “Unable to connect to that CMS Address” and string on the bottom of the screen: " Method: XmdsBase.Message:E = class javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException/java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found…"
I’m using self-signed certificate, on-premise CMS.
There was no changes on device.
I’ve checked address in Chrome browser on Android device - everything is fine, certificate information is valid. CA certificate is installed in the system.
Before player upgrade, I’ve upgraded CMS from 1.8 to 2.0.1.
I performed remote upgrade of the player through CMS profile, then I’ve tried to install it locally.
Android version of device is 7.1.2
Could you please help me resolve this.
Thank you!
Update: I rolled back to CMS 1.8 and found out that player R201 not connecting even to 1.8 CMS version.
So my question is - what was changed in client connection/authorization requirements and what should I do to make it work?
