Xibo CMS stuck on scheduling layout to display

Hi there,

I’ve got a manual Xibo Installation (Server 2012 R2 with XAMPP), and have an odd bug where when scheduling a layout to be displayed and hitting “save” does nothing aside from showing the spinning cog.
What makes this a little weirder, is that the layout does eventually get pushed out to the client (Windows 10) but CMS is still stuck on “save”.

I’m getting no errors from the client information screen, so I presume something is wrong in the configuration (More than likely PHP, but I can’t see anything wrong to my knowledge)

As a reference I used this guide to configure xibo, and have no errors elsewhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: I’m using Xibo CMS 2.1.1, but I have tried this on 2.2.0 & 2.2.1 with the same result.
