We are pleased to announce the sixth patch to the 3.3 version of the Xibo CMS. The codename for this version is “Borrelly”.

Hello guys.
There’s a mistake in your readme. In “installation” chapter there’s a hyperlink with install instructions and it follows to your “Ooops, looks like you are lost” page. Also in 2nd sentence it’s said that installation instruction is presented in every Release Note file, but there’s also no instruction in this page.

Hi,

Apache httpd is still at 2.4.55 version. This version has multiple vulnerabilities.
Could you update to version 2.4.56 or higher in the next updates?
Its happen in xibo docker

Hi, thanks for pointing this out and welcome to the community!

Each release we make gets the latest packages from our base build (for v3 this is alpine 3.15, v4 this is debian:bullseye-slim)

3.3.7 will come with Apache 2.4.56-r0, and 4.0.0-rc1 will come with 2.4.56-1~deb11u2.

We usually release once a month.

Thanks for your message. I’ve double checked the 3.3.6 release container and it has Apache 2.4.56 already. Please check you’re using the correct container image: ghcr.io/xibosignage/xibo-cms:release-3.3.6

docker-compose pull
docker-compose up -d --force-recreate cms-web
docker-compose exec cms-web bash
bash-5.1# httpd -V
Server version: Apache/2.4.56 (Unix)
Server built:   Mar  7 2023 19:34:25

I´ve update with the correct packages and now it has Apache 2.4.56
