Xibo 1.8.9 Unable to skip tutorial

Hi,

I have made fresh installation of Xibo 1.8.9 in subdirectory of my web accessible directory
but Unable to skip tutorial. I keep getting prompt at all pages even after I click “skip this tutorial” button

Could you open dev console in your browser similiar to what hhan did here Skip this tutorial

and tell us if you get the same error?

Could you also confirm if it’s docker or manual installation and if it’s the later is the URL rewriting/document root set correctly?

It’s manual installation. I have handled URL rewriting in web/.htaccess.

1.8.4 used to work perfectly without setting up RewriteBase

I have exactly the same problem.

I don’t now how to access to the dev console?

Presumably you also have a custom installation on a web server?

We’ve logged a bug about it and will fix it in 1.8.10 - https://github.com/xibosignage/xibo/issues/1490
