Hi. I installed 1.7.6 versions: cms, windows and android client on different machines (hosting server, android mini pc and Windows intel mini pc respectively).
So i created a layout with 4 frames (a flash file, 2 images, a 10 second video and a ticker). Works fine in the preview and in android player (except flash file) but in windows player it only displays the background image, not any frame and whatsmore i hear the video’s sound! It’s like it doesnt load the frames or if the frames were overwritten by the background. So i only see the background image and can hear the ‘invisible’ video sound.
I also checked if the files were downloaded in the library folder and they are ok there.
So what could possibly be happening?
I also reinstalled the player but it’s still the same issue.
Another question: how can I reset the cms url in the windows client? Where are the settings? Because in the android app there’s a hidden control panel icon but not in windows.
Thanks…
Well I solve partially the problem. There 1st frame was full screen with an image background and it hid the other frames. But in android client was working good not in windows one.
So I played with the z-order option but it resets it from cms. So i had to delete the entire frame and put the background image in the main layout option and solve that issue.I dont understand why in windows app does not support that feature.
so my question is how can play multiple layouts in a list?? eg 1zt layout 20 seconds then 2nd layout 15 secs and so on.
Another question: how can I reset the cms url in the windows client? Where are the settings? Because in the android app there’s a hidden control panel icon but not in windows.
Waiting for someone help me. Thanks!
Windows client doesn’t support overlapping regions.
Background .jpg image set as a well as a layout background will work just fine.
Create a campaign, add your layout to the campaign, schedule it to display.
There should be Xibo player Options in your ‘start’ menu, if for some reason there isn’t one, you can create a shortcut to xibo and edit the path to it - just add " o" so for example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Xibo Player\XiboClient.exe" o
Thank you Peter.
