Windows displays only syncing once when installed from scratch

Hello all,
We have a few displays on each floor of my company’s building and we use them to display the company’s priorities and objectives. Since it’s 2018 we want to update the layout because is showing last year priorities. But when we updated the layout, the display continues showing old content, opening the information and status window I saw this every 10 seconds:

ScheduleManagerThread|2/6/2018 2:29:11 PM|Audit|ScheduleManager - Run|Schedule Timer Ticked
ScheduleManagerThread|2/6/2018 2:29:11 PM|Error|ScheduleManager - LoadNewSchedule|Layout invalid: 38

UI Thread|2/6/2018 2:29:11 PM|Error|MainForm - ChangeToNextLayout|Prepare Layout Failed. Exception raised was: Default layout

The layout was working fine with the last year videos so what I try doing was using the original layout (with the old videos), but the same error appeared. Not even the last working layout is syncing now. 10 displays use this same layout, and only 1 shows a different one, I tried using that layout in one of the 10 displays but no luck, all the layouts I use shows the same error, even test ones with a picture or text.
The displayes are logged in though. Last session is updating fine.

I tried installing Xibo Player on a test PC, (1.7.5), and it worked just fine there, so I tried changing the layout and uploading new videos to it. And that’s when it broke and started showing the error on the logs above. A re-install won’t fix it.

I installed Xibo on another PC that never had Xibo installed before and worked just once, again. So I don’t really think the problem is with the CMS.

Sorry for my english I’m from Argentina.

It would be best to use current releases ie 1.7.10 (CMS) and 1.7.9 player or update to 1.8 series.

That being said the errors suggest that the layout id 38 is invalid, presumably it is also set as a default layout for your display?
We usually recommend the default layout to be very simple and all more complex layouts to be scheduled to the displays.

Is the layoutId 38 valid in CMS? (does it has checkmark in layout status column)
Can we see a screenshot of the status window on the player where it does not work please?

Yes, the layout is set as default. And according to CMS it’s valid.
Here’s screenshot of info window and CMS.

The thing is that a new display syncs that layout with no problem the first time after installation, changing the layout or uploading a new file into the default one make it stop syncing.

Here are the displays, the ones highlighted are the ones that are currently in use, the other ones are in different bulldings or are off.

If you look at the required files status on the player status window, that does not seem fine does it?

Please navigate to the Display Settings page -> Edit display profile assigned to your player
adjust the download start/end window

Preferably to the default values ie 00:00 and 00:00 which means always open, save the profile, restart the device.
