My business is converting over to Win 10. I have a site, mostly JS and Websockets, that I can run fine for hours in Edge. But when Xibo reloads the page it just freezes and the JS doesn’t run. I have no idea how to debug this. It seems to only happen in Xibo. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Xibo will use IE11 (if that’s set in browser emulation) - Enabling HTML5 in the Windows .net Player
It’s also possible that you can tweak some IE settings regarding websockets - https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee330736(v=vs.85).aspx#websocket
Xibo itself does not handle those, it’s all on IE side.
Did you manage to solve this issue? I have the same issue where it will work for a short time but then it will just break. Manually refreshing fixes it. Also using JS and websockets.
