Happy to be in the Xibo-boat.
I built a interactive pedestal kiosk with touch display that I’d like to run the Xibo player.
The idea is to have a website running, and when the terminal hasen’t been interacted with for a period of time, a video should begin playing. And when you tap on the display, video will close and the website will show again.
How can I achieve this with Xibo?
Using the screensaver client you can achieve this.
Does this kiosk run Windows?
Yes, it does run Windows.
I already setup Xibo to run as a screen saver. However, the screensaver will not trigger unless I set the idle time to 1 minute. I’d like the screensaver to start after 10 min. idle time.
Currently I’m testing out a solution using Chrome in kiosk mode. I also need to use an on screen keyboard, but the built in OSK in Windows offers too many features that will allow the user to tamper with the kiosk.
