Use a video as background while i display weather cast

i’m using a windows player
it’s possible to put an image in an a layout background and with the embeded module displays a weather cast
i would like to use a video instead of a picture

i read many posts and all blend in my head

Xibo not rendering HTML5 embeded local video

Hi evereyone I’m trying to create a Xibo module, which should store 2 videos and download it to local storage, one main and one secondary (Done), and show the main video if an API query returns True if False is showing the secondary video, due to this request to the API I had to try to show the video with the tag of HTML5, my client of Xibo (v.1.7.9) is not viewing the video, and the IE11 yes, how can I solve the problem. Greetings and I would appreciate a hint

Use Video/Images from Media in Embedded HTML

I have uploaded a mp4 video to library, is there any way to use such file in Embedded HTML? What will be URL of resource in that case. Thanks

on the other hand i saw media are saved like : 24.mp4 in the client xibo library

help would be appreciated

Xibo for Windows does not support videos as Backgrounds, my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Xibo for Android does support Overlapping regions, so you could create one large region that contains the video you want as your background and then add the other regions on top.
