I’ve updated the Xibo Version to 4.0.1 and want to upload files but it dosn’t worke.
I think it is the missing Folder:
Could some one help me??

It’s a Docker Installation on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.
I’ve upgrade it before from Version 3.3.4 to 3.3.6 same Problem.

Additional Information.
If I go to “Folders” in the Navigation i see Files and Displays etc.
In the Version 4.0.0 nothing was shown.
in Version 3.3.4 it looks like this:
I think there was a problem during the database update.
Is v4 still installed or have you roll back?

it could be but the Database Change is at Version 4 and not in V3.3.6 right?
so, it’s strange, that the same error is in v3.3.6

Maybe the problem is with our current database.
Personally, I’ve never encountered a problem when updating.
Do you think it’s possible to install a brand new server and migrate the existing displays, layout, media, etc., depending on the quantity?
You’re right, it is also the first Problem with a Xibo Upgrade for me.
I could try it, but strange that @Denny has the same Problem.
It seems, that is not only my Server.
In this case I wonder if its this bug:
Can you look at you modules page and see the ones you’re expecting to be enabled are enabled?

I had the same Idea, that some Modules are inactive or has to reinstall.
But there was no Modul, which lead to this error in my opinion.
Also, many Modules was aktive and working, in the Layouts was Videos, Pictures etc shown. If one of the Modules would be inactiv, the Preview wouldn’t shown Files from this Modultyp, right?
Please can you follow the report fault process and link us to the result (make sure you check that there isn’t anything sensitive inside before sending).

I’ve seen I should do the Update to Version4 from Version 3.3.7
So i made an Update to Version 3.3.7, same Problem in this Version…
If i try to generate the Report the following Message shown:
In the Xibo Log:
My current Version 3.3.4 every thing works(Folder, Upload etc)
But also the same Error appears if i try to run the report fault…
Any Idea?
My best guess is that this is a MySQL problem and that the MySQL container you had on your old installation needs to be upgraded.

In the working Version 3.3.4 this dosn’t shown in the console.
Just to be sure I understand - 3.3.4 works well, but 3.3.7 (and 4.0.1) does not?
In 3.3.6 we added some client side checking to the uploader which tries to prevent uploading images which are larger than the maximum image pixel size defined in settings.
I think the error you’re getting implies that is not set.
Please can you have a look in Administration → Settings → Defaults → Resize limit and see what is there? If its empty, can you please try setting it to something (6000 is the default)
Finally it workes.
You’re right, it was the filed.
After upgrade to Version 4.0.0 there was the message “the cms is temporarily offline as an upgrade is in progress…” after upgrade to 4.0.1 it disappeard and now i’m on the lates release 4.0.3.
Now testing and then goes prod.
