we are a department store , having Tizen-Displays in almost any floor.
I´m puzzled with the following:
i have a group for all Displays as well smaller ones for the single departments.
We have some videos that have to be played on ANY display (so i chose the “all”-Group for this purpose) and according to the individual department videos and Pics that only have to play there.
Somehow the displays now only play the “all”-Stuff , but not the individual layout.
Both schedules are prioritised the same. have the same schedule-settings (Days, Time etc.) and are each associated to the according display-groups.
When i look into the status-page of the Tizen-Client, i see that the individual layout is downloaded and valid.
Thanks for that tip. Didnt realize that was possible. BUT: as a result:
Both entrys are shown (the one for the “all Displays” and the “individual one”) , both have same priority etc. etc. but only the “all Displays” is played …
i checked like described by you and noted the scheduled layouts on the players.
Took my remote control and went for a walk.
I found that the Tizen-Screens all show in status, that they have the assigned layouts downloaded, valid and scheduled.
BUT: the “next scheduled layout” value “sticks” to the “all-Screens”-Value (layout 62) , the other is not showing up at any time.
I believe it should cycle those two events as you’ve outlined.
If you’re using Tizen and looking for a priority reply then you’re welcome to open a ticket with the help desk as its a commercial product. We do of course keep an eye on support requests here, but there isn’t someone monitoring.
