I am having an issue with the CMS where I am unable to delete an apparently empty folder. When viewing the folder info on the Folders admin page, I see the information shown in the attached screenshot.
When I go to view the content library, there is no media, playlist, displays, layouts or campaigns visible in that folder (all search filters cleared). With no way to see any sort of media objects or otherwise in the folder, I’m at a loss on how to remove the folder from here. Any suggestions? I have also tried using the “Tidy Library” function on the CMS.
EDIT: I should also add that I’ve attempted to merge the folder in question with an existing folder and that errors out as well.
I can’t see the folder you are trying to remove in your CMS, please can you upload a larger image so I can see the folder tree to the left of what is in your screenshot?
Here’s a screenshot of the full folder tree. The folder currently lives directly under the root folder. It was previously a subfolder under the Civil folder, but I moved it out to the root directory in troubleshooting.
Thank you for your reply. I would recommend returning to the Media menu in your CMS as a super Admin user and selecting that folder. Make sure that you do not have any values entered in any of the filters, especially any spaces entered into the filters. Can you provide a screenshot showing what you see in the media menu? Please make sure that your image also includes the filters so we can be sure this is correct.
