You mean a region with a date inside ? I think the way to go is Web embedded if that’s the case.

You use a Text widget, and use the Clock tag:
Just double click on the Clock|DD/MM/YYYY template to add it. Definitely no need to embed homebrew HTML for this.
Or use clock widget -> digital clock type with [DD/MM/YYYY], which essentially is the same as Alex’s suggestion as far as the output of it is concerned.
