The error message: Status The client found the response content type of ‘text / plain; charset = UTF-8’, but expected ‘text / xml’. Request failed with error message:

is display when i click in button “save” of xibo player configurator after install.

My CMS version is 2.0.1 and i downloaded the xibo client on the link: https://blog.xibo.org.uk/xibo-for-windows-v2-r200/

Any idea from this?

Is a custom CMS instaled in a server with Cpanel, PHP 5.4 and Mysql 5.6.43

There is a good chance that you need to update php on that machine, please check all requirements of the CMS instillation - https://xibo.org.uk/docs/setup/xibo-on-a-web-server

Is there something more ie the error message displayed as well?
You could show us a screenshot of the Xibo Player Options screen after you click save.

Hi, check your log table in database to see the real error message. in my case I set field DEFAULT_LAYOUT value in table setting (settingId = 94) to 1
