First off, I’m currently trialing Xibo. I have 2 4K TVs hooked up to a mini Windows 10 PC running the both Xibo and Xibo Screen Two players. The display profile and layouts are all set. The first Xibo player plays on the first screen without any issues. The Xibo Second Screen doesn’t show anything on the second screen. It’s running in the task bar and I can select the Screen 2 and hit “i” and get the pop up for information. When I select “Screen Shot” in the web console, I get a screen shot of the blank screen (it still shows the task bar and everything). Anyone have any ideas? We’re close to using it, but this is a bog hold up for us.
Sorry to hear about the issue. Could you please try to go to your CMS, Schedule section. Click the event and save it without doing any changes. Did both of the Xibo Players update?
In case both the Xibo players were able to show content, could you try scheduling a different layout and see if both players update automatically?
Could see share a screenshot of the player status log on Xibo Player 2 when you press the letter ‘i’ on the player itself?
The TVs are 4K TVs. The scaling on them was set to 300%. When I modified the display settings in Xibo for the second screen to reflect a 1920x1080 TV and changed the resolution and scaling to 1920x1080 and 100%, respectively, it started working without any issues.
