Screen Rotation (Portrait) with DSCS9 Android Not working Please Help

Hi

I am using Xibo 1.8 with DSCS9 Android devices with android 6. The problem is I have created a portrait layout here in the web and rotate the screen to portrait as well. But when xibo starts it becomes into landscape mode.

Any help on this? Please!

I am also using a DSCS9 Player. I was able to set my Player to display in Portrait mode by:

  • Creating a Layout in a Portrait Resolution.
  • Changing the Screen Rotation Settings in the DSCS9 Device Settings.
  • Changing the Display Profile Settings for the Android Profile I am using with the DSCS9. Under the Location Tab, I set the Orientation to Portrait.

Once the settings were configured, I restarted the Player.

Please note that I am using Xibo for Android version 1.8 R108. I would recommend upgrading the Player.

If you have followed all of the above instructions but the Player is not showing in Portrait mode, please let me know.
