Scheduling repeating events doesn't adjust date

When I schedule a repeating event on a day in a week, let’s say mondays, the dates in the repeated scheduled events are not adjusted, so content doesn’t show up. The date of the original event is also the date defined in the repeated events. How to correctly define repeated events?

To repeat every Monday, you would setup your first event for the first Monday you want to show it on

Start: 03/02/2020 10:00
End: 03/02/2020 20:00

Then you set your repeat as

Repeats: Daily
Every: 7
Until: Blank

Alternatively you could set

Repeats: Weekly
Day: Monday
Every: 1
Until: Blank

If you edit one of the repeating events, it will show you the date/time of the first time the layout was shown. That’s correct and expected because it’s the definition for that schedule. You’ll see in the calendar that the repeats are located correctly, and you can use the Agenda View to show you that they will start and stop at the correct times on the correct days.

Thanks Alex, so the configuration is fine, it seems that the display doesn’t update somehow, in the Display overview it shows that it’s logged-off and that the content is not up to date, i also see this errormessage frequently occur: SQLSTATE[40001]: Serialization failure: 1213 Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction.

I’m new to using Xibo so maybe overlooking something. We’re using an intelcomputestick with W10 behind the screen - and the screen is on-a-distance so have to drive back and forth to check things on the display.

Thanks for assistance, Theo

I would clear the display cache in the CMS and allow the Player to download again.

To do that, edit the display in the CMS and save, making no changes.

Hi Alex, thanks, just did it, let’s see.
