I want to create an event with a connected playlist.
For some playlists, there’s an option to select the resolution, but for others, where the resolution has already been selected when creating another event, there’s no such option.
Is this a CMS bug or can it be changed somewhere else? The functionality seems interesting and needed.
I’m attaching two screenshots - the first one shows a dropdown for selecting the resolution for a playlist, and the second one, for a different playlist, doesn’t show it anymore.
We are aware of this and are currently working on improving scheduling for an upcoming v4.4.0 release. Improvements will include the ability to select resolutions, colour etc for Playlists, Images, Videos that have already been scheduled.
Hello and thank you for your work, it is very important to us! I didn’t create a new thread, but I would like to join in on similar questions.
I would also like to ask you to consider adding to the “schedule event” the ability to arbitrarily select the resolution for the video file, the ability to select different “scale types” (possibly with presetting the “default” settings when creating an event) and the ability to delete the this event entry from the “event list” itself after the rotation video is complete (possibly, optionally - along with the file).
It might even be possible to add the ability to link one video file to one region of the screen, and another video file to another region the same screen (specifically through the scheduler, and not through layouts - in “layouts” we create screen layout, but do not put videos in rotation there).
