After a lot of trial & error I finally set up my CMS and started making my templates. After viewing these on the windows player I noticed that the original & unedited layout was still showing. It wouldn’t let me delete the default layout so I retired it, and even though it’s not showing in the CMS it still shows in the player. Any help or suggestions on how to remove this would be great! Thanks 
It is most likely set as the Default Layout on your Display - if you choose an alternative default layout (content you want to use as a last resort fall back), then you should be able to delete the existing default.
Failing that, you could edit the existing default to be your content for a last resort fallback (i.e. something for the display to show when there isn’t anything else available).
