The server version is 4.1.2, and the player version is v4 for Win32.
I have two displays and one layout.
When I publish changes, only one display updates successfully in player,
while the other gets stuck on the Xibo logo.
I checked the log, and the error message is: “Exception in Run: Requested an invalid file.”
Why does only one display update successfully?
What can I do to resolve this issue?
If I copy the library files from the working display to the non-working display, it works. But why doesn’t it update automatically?
Please can someone help me?
Hi Ran, can you stop all xibo process client on your display ? suppress all folders in My Documents, Redo the integration With xibo client option (just put the correct hardware key ( the name of the display you will find it in the CMS)

I did it and still one display not updates after publish.
I keep getting the error Exception in Run: Requested an invalid file
If I use 2 layouts, one for each display all good.
(I push each layout and it updates on both displays)
only if I use 1 common layout for 2 displays I get the above error after publish,
but only on one display…
2 layouts is a bit overkill to fix this issue I think, because on every change I need now to edit 2 layouts.
I’m really desperate and don’t know how to solve this.
