Propagating Layout Permissions to Regions/Widgets

Hello,

I’m currently running CMS version 3.1.4. I would like to share a layout with a group, and give them complete control over the layout. The problem is, although the layout is shared, each individual region/widget in the layout is not shared. I would have to individually go to each one and share them. Is there any way to propagate the sharing permissions from the layout itself to the regions/widgets in the layout without having to go to each widget? Having to share each widget can be really inconvenient, especially with widget-heavy layouts.

Hi @aramo,

The best way to do what you require would be to put the layout into a folder, and then Share the folder with the necessary permissions to the users/usergroup. The layout and its contents will inherit the permissions of the folder.
