Playlist Timeline widget only editable by the owner

Issue

Hello,

I have installed version 4.5.1 of Xibo, and I am experiencing an issue when editing the timeline of a playlist if the user is not the playlist owner.

Here is the situation:

  • The user is a member of a group.
  • The group has full permissions on the playlist.
  • The user can view, edit, and even delete the playlist.
  • However, when the user tries to access the playlist timeline, the following message appears:
    “This widget is not shared with you with edit permission.”

It seems that sharing the playlist does not also grant access to edit the associated timeline. As a result, only the playlist owner can edit its timeline (so only one person in the company).

Does someone can reproduce this issue or has found a workarround ?

You’re not the only one, but I haven’t found a work-around that works everywhere, unless you want to give everyone administrator access, but that’s not something I prefer to do.
