I’m having an issue with a playlist not looping continuously.
I have scheduled a playlist containing 32 short videos, with a total duration of approximately 25 minutes. The playlist plays all 32 videos correctly from beginning to end, but once the last video finishes, the player returns to the Xibo Default Layout (the blue screen showing the time) instead of starting the playlist again.
In the Schedule, the event is configured as “Always”. I have already tried changing the scheduling settings in different ways and have also checked/corrected the device’s date, time, and timezone.
However, the best result I can get is for the playlist to play once. After that, it always returns to the Default Layout.
My current setup is:
- Xibo CMS: Self-hosted
- Environment: Docker Swarm
- Player: Xibo for Android running on an Amazon Fire TV Stick
- Playlist: 32 videos / approximately 25 minutes
- Schedule: Always
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
Is there any specific setting required to make a scheduled playlist automatically restart from the beginning after the last video finishes?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can also provide screenshots of the Schedule, Playlist, Display settings, or logs if needed.
