Good morning Xibo Community!
I have an issue where all of my players have stopped showing the scheduled content. The players have been working fine for many years, buto something over the past few days have knocked them all off.
The status screen on the player is stating the following:
“Schedule: Unable to get the schedule. Please check the CMS logs”
“Required Files (Inside download window): Skipped:125/125”
My players are listed as authorised, with full licences and up to date.
I am on CMS 4.5.1, and my players are Android Boxes running Android 9. My billing is up to date as well.
Any help would be appreciated!
Do you by chance have scheduled commands?
I had an issue that after publishing a layout in 4.5.1 caused the display to display a black screen with just the XIBO logo on the bottom right.
All my displays were reporting: “Unable to get the schedule”
Turns out that deleting all commands under Schedule → Events resolved this problem.
I’m hoping that this is just a bug that will be solved in future released, as I’m using these commands to automatically turn the television on and off.
Thanks for the tip. Yeah, all my players have a reboot command scheduled for early in the morning before the locations open up.
I’m currently in an e-mail discussion with Xibo Support over this as well and I’ll pass this on, as they have managed to replicate the issue on their end with my CMS.
Yep, removing the reboot command worked and things are back to how they should be.
I’ve let Xibo Support know and, they are going to investigate further.
I confirm the issue is on xibo-cms side:
ERROR: [arexibo::mainloop] during collect: getting schedule: parsing Schedule SOAP response: got SOAP fault: Carbon\Carbon::createFromTimestamp(): Argument #1 ($timestamp) must be of type string|int|float, null given, called in /opt/xibo-cms/lib/Helper/DateFormatHelper.php on line 55
You just saved me. I was baffled why the displays didn’t update …
