Player is missing dependencies V2.1

I tried to use 2 DSCS9 android players on CMS 2.1 - nothing happened only the splash screen. The error they gave was player is missing despencies.
These players were used on the CMS 1.8 before.

So i took a brand new DSCS9 out of the box, installed the apk , and it worked on the V2.1 …

Even after a factory reset of the 2 former DS-players they gave the error about the dependencies.

Could it be that the license-cms of XIBO (www.xibo.org.uk) remembers the version??

How can we solve it that the 2 player can be used on version 2,1?

You need to click on the ‘Verify All’ button from the Modules page.

Please be aware that a 1.8 Player will connect to a 2.1 CMS but some of the functionality that comes with 2.1 will not work. Please read Upgrading Players for further information.

Hi Natasha, the VERIFY ALL button we already did yesterday.
This morning we saw a strange message in the status screen about XMDS…?

Something to do with that?

0 is the normal state showing for XMDS

Could you please clear the CMS cache for that display by editing it and then saving.

If the issue persists after clearing the cache, please do come back to us.

Hello,

Today i tried to add 6 players to our Xibo V1.8 CMS (with V1.8 players), they all don’t show any content, it has been added.
I Refreshed the modules, I refreshed the Cache, but still nothing
Below the screenshot of the CMS, it shows a CROSS after 1 minute in the status

Please go to Modules and ‘Verify all’, then edit each of your displays in turn and Save, making no changes to clear the Player cache CMS side.

We did exactly what you decribed, still no layout on the screen. (and cross in status)
How to debug this?
