Player does not play content

Hi, I have the following problem with some clients (so I think the problem is related to hardware or some diversity). On these NUC intel PCs, start xibo, the background image is loaded, the schedule seems to start, but then the image returns.
xibo player 10.5.2.
All contents are regularly downloaded.
I asked to have a copy of the schedule to see if any content was not reproducible. I have only jpg and mp4. Opening the pc the mp4 files work

Am sorry to ask…but cant remember seeing a player 10? What OS are you running on the player?

Jermaine_Gray is correct, there is not a Version 10 Player, currently the latest version is 2. You can confirm the version of the Player you are running by logging into your CMS, then go to the Displays option. If you now click the Column Visibility button, you can add the Version column, which will list the full version number. Please provide that version number as well as the version of Xibo CMS you are using.

Please also confirm the version of your Operating System and make sure all updates have been installed, and that your device drivers are also up to date.

Could you also provide a screenshot of the Status logs from that Player? To access the Logs on a Windows Player, you will need to click the i key on your keyboard while the Player is running.

May be you can try cleaning the library folder on the player (Not you CMS Library) which would force the player to re download the content. If the content get corrupt or did not download correctly that should work. Or may you can remove the twitter widget and recreate it. Please try and let us know.

having deleted the cache and had the contents downloaded again, it was the first test done.

Did you recreate the widget after clear the cash and the download?

not, I still reported the problem and I hope they will do it soon

There are no problem with hardware or software. I tried another palimpsest ant it work.

Thank you for the information on your CMS and player version. If you are using an older versions of Xibo such as 1.4.2 CMS and 1.5.2 Player, my first recommendation would be to upgrade your setup as I cannot troubleshoot any issues with an end of life version of the Player and CMS.

Below is a link to the Xibo launchpad, where you can find the newer versions of CMS that you can use. Please note that you can simply delete the 5 at the end of the link and replace with a 6 to get to the next version up. I would recommend upgrading your CMS, first to 1.5.2, then 1.6.4, then 1.7.10. If you wish to upgrade to the latest versions, you could then upgrade to 1.8.13 followed by 2.2.0.

I would also recommend that your Windows OS is also up to date, can you confirm what edition of Windows 10 you are using?
