Permissions for schedule

Hello,
My users are locked down so they are only able to change the images on their timeline.
How can i stop these users from editing the schedule and adding events? Also is there a way to lock down the durations in the timelines.

Basically the only thing i want my users to do is edit the timeline. Currently they can schedule now and change the schedule

You will want to restrict the permission for your user/userGroup to:

page security
-Homepage and login
-Layouts

menu security
Design menu
-Layouts
top nav
-design

If they won’t have access to schedule or any displays they won’t be able to edit existing events or schedule new events.
