When I go to Users and then Page Security, I can disable the View for Layouts for a particular user, but when I login as the user I previously disabled the Layouts for, then I can still see the Layouts and can still create a new layout.
It’s like nothing happens when I disable the view for Layouts and the same thing happens to the Schedule

The role of the user is a Basic User, but when I uncheck Layout when logged in as the administrator, then the layout menu is still there for the basic user
You have the menu; but you can’t see the layouts previously created don’t you ?
You want that the user can’t use the Layout menu at all if i fully understand ?
Yes I can see the menu, I can see the layouts previously created by the user and he can still create or edit the layouts.
You understood me correctly that I want the Layout menu gone for the particular user.
It seems like the Layout menu i always there. I’m not sure about this maybe an admin could confirm this.
I think every user can create their layouts, but if you want them to not see previously created layouts, the solution is to make the previous layouts on “view only” mode for basic user.
