Overlay Layout regions

Dear XIBO Staff,

Thanks for your help, my xibo cms is working perfectly now.
So I’ve created our Layouts, and I was trying the new Overlay Layout. Seems a very versatile idea.

To start, I’ve created an overlay layout with just 2 regions, in the right bottom corner a text clock, and in the left corner the notification widget. Nothing is overlapping for the moment (between overlay and normal), except for the Weather Layout, witch is full screen. I don’t think this can affect all the campaign/schedule.
Anyway the background of the overlay regions is not transparent, but white. The first time I tried it, the regions were transparent. I’m searchin the problem everywhere, z-index, backgrounds…

Maybe it’s just impossibile to have transparent overlay regions, on a jpg background locared in the base layout) ? The overlay layout has no background.

With the Windows Player, you’ll need to match the background so it’s the same colour as the layout you’re overlaying.

It doesn’t support true transparency as you’d expect.

On an Android or webOS Player, it will show the overlay as you’d expect.
