No thumbnails for BMP files

Hi, I am using version 1.7.9 and I cannot see any thumbnails at the library page, layout page and layout editing for bmp files. If I use jpg files, it works ok. But I cannot use jpg files because of my application. Is there a solution?

You’re correct .bmp files seems to work quite well - we will investigate this issue.

We don’t really have a solution for this - we can’t generate thumbnails for BMP images (the GD driver for PHP cannot do so).

We’ve added better handling for it in the below reported issue - but, the root issue remains
