Is there a way to put a news feed into a region? or to even add one as a module?

I have it working now, but is there a way that i can separate the different news headlines with commas once they are already being displayed? Either that or space them?
Ticker has the usual CKE text editor, as such you can add spaces or - or anything else between the items
ie say [Title] --- if only title tag is displayed, it will then show the title of the first item then --- title on the next item and so on.
Usually with ticker you also want to use effects, the most common is probably marquee (so it is like the news tickers you can see in TV etc).
