Newbie, what did I do wrong

Background:
I am looking to use Xibo for signage at our church which does not have a good internet connection so planning on running CMS on Ubuntu server using retired hardware. I am still in the evaluation phase, so I am starting with the latest release 1.8.1 which is loaded on Ubuntu 16.04. So far no problems that weren’t fixable with a search.

Issue:
After creating layouts when I go to the layout page no layouts are displayed, just “No data available in table”. However if I add a new layout, all the layouts I have created appear in the editor dropdown. If I look at the layout table in MySql all the layouts are listed. What have I done wrong or missed getting setup?

I am sure this is something dumb that I did but can’t find an answer.

Could only post one screenshot so here is the editor display.

Dave

If you look at your first screenshot you’re using ‘My_Default’ layout name and ‘default’ tag as a filter and retired ‘Yes’.

Since you do not have a layout called ‘My_Default’ there is nothing displayed in the layouts table.

same might go for tag and retired flag.

If you remove the filter or search for the name of the layout that is in the system, then it should show it correctly.

Thank you, I knew it was rookie mistake.
