MySQL Version compatible with Xibo 3.3

Dear support,

We have a manual instalation with Xibo 3.3, php 7.4.33 and MySQL 5.7 on redhat.
This version of MySQL is EOL, so we were wondering if we can upgrade to a newer MySQL version with that Xibo 3.3 version.

In case we cannot, I don’t see how we can upgrade to Xibo 4. Can Xibo 4 work with php 7.4.33 and MySQL 5.7? because in that case we could upgrade to Xibo 4 and then upgrade the database to MySQL 8.

I haven’t seen anywhere which versions of php and MySQL are supported with each version. Could you please, point me where I can find that information?

You can check the docker-compose files, to see the version for mysql
and also in the release noes for major release you can find

this one from version 4.0.0
Please note that the minimum version of PHP needed to run the CMS is PHP 8.1.

i assume the same can be found for older major releases
