i’ve got a setup which will have multiple displays, i have some content which will need to be displayed on all the screens, but i also will have content to only be displayed on each one(each monitor will be in a different location, and will need to provide location specific information, in addition to common information)
well, i was hoping there would be a way i could use a “common” something or other, to facilitate the ease of office / non-it types, and allow them to add or remove pages/announcements to a “global” or “common” set of content, and leave the area specific content alone.
If it’s something new, then yes you’d need to add it to your existing layouts.
If you’d want to replace some media file on the layout, then you can do that on Media page, edit the old media file, select new file and enable checkbox ‘Update this media in all layouts it is assigned to?’.
