Module twitter - images

1

Hi I have a proble width twitter module

I create the api key and the other key in twitter and put into module.
add a Region.
Edit timeline and I check “Override the template?” and add the tag [Photo]

In preview Only appear the text. I can’t see the images. the profile and the images/gif on the tweet.
.

Any idea?

What CMS version are you using please?

Could you try it with full twitter timeline template if it’s 1.7.9?

In 1.8 we do have more templates to select from.

the cms version is 1.7.8

ok, would be good to upgrade to 1.7.9, but 1.7.8 should work fine as well.

ie [Photo] in template and .photo img in css to control the image size etc, you can select full twitter timeline template and then edit the template if needed.

I already edited the css. But no image appears.
No image profile, no image tweet/gif

There were some issues with twitter images in earlier versions, but 1.7.8 should be fine (still upgrade to 1.7.9 would be recommended)

I assume the images are not visible in both designer and player?
If so could you enable debugging in CMS and then check CMS logs page please?
Before you upload the troubleshooting.txt here, please make sure it does not contain any sensitive data.

You can also double check curl - Using Tickers, Forecast, Twitter and other external resources that make use of HTTPS connections
Although since feed text is working I’d imagine that is probably fine.

You can also double check filesystem permissions on your web server and make sure CMS can access everything it needs.

Right, what you can try is either:

Update your php to at least 5.3.3 perhaps 5.5.9 that will get rid of safe mode (which was disabled in php 5.4 I believe) and it seems to interfere with curl, which might then cause problems with outside sources like twitter.

Alternatively, you can set safe_mode = Off in your php.ini file and see if that will help.

It would also seem that your layout id 89 is invalid - it could be because of the twitter, but perhaps there is a different issue on this layout.

It would be also recommended to use 1.7.9 CMS, 1.7.9 Windows player and 1.7 R62 android player, just to be sure that you’re not encountering some old bugs that are already fixed in newer releases.
